This class can be taken as a part of our Certificate in Sustainable Development, open to all students from all departments and degree levels, or just as an elective class.
Our 8 in-class lectures will introduce you to sustainability matters and goals, perfect for students who are interested in sustainability but haven’t found a good place to start.
Our 3-day field trip to Maolin is the best practical opportunity for community mapping, engaging with the local villagers, and conducting a river assessment.
No preset knowledge of sustainability is required, we encourage interdisciplinary work and hope our class will have students from many different backgrounds and fields.
